The Challenge
Create a discreet, high-trust NSFW experience for an LGBTQ+ content company that supports paid events, private sessions, product sales and service bookings while protecting user privacy, preventing abuse, and meeting regulatory and payment requirements. The platform needed to balance robust safety and verification with a smooth, premium user experience for both creators and customers.
Our Approach
We treated privacy and safety as core product features. Design and engineering focused on privacy-by-default UX, pseudonymous accounts, age verification, verified creator flows, role-based access controls and encrypted communications where appropriate. We built a secure booking and ticketing engine with granular access tokens for events and private sessions, and integrated discreet payment flows and receipt options to protect user identities. Content moderation, audit logging and admin tooling were implemented to manage risk, enforce policies and respond to incidents quickly. All interactions were optimized for fast, simple booking, checkout and creator onboarding while maintaining rigorous security and compliance standards.
